All laced up, and nowhere to go isn’t quite the case with Renfrew’s new Junior A Hockey squad.
Owner-coach Ryan Leonard says he’s relocated his family from Cochrane in Northern Ontario, and introduced himself at the golf course.
He says the players are in the community, and those in need of billets have found them.
Leonard says so far clubs have only been allowed to engage in training camp activities.
The coach says there’s been no formal word on officially hitting the ice, but they’re gearing up for a possible Exhibition schedule, beginning sometime next month.
