Spending time with cows and watching them grow is one of the most rewarding parts of being a dairy farmer.
Kyle Hodgins grew up on a farm and is part of a family that has been involved in agriculture for generations. He does admit there was a time he wanted to be a hockey player but once that faded, farming is where his heart was.
Although his farm is in Shawville, Kyle says most of his family’s dealings are with farmers and mechanics in Renfrew County.
Kyle believes the advancement of technology has been a good thing for the agricultural sector and likes social media that highlights life on the farm.
Maintaining a positive attitude is also something Kyle feels is very important.
