The OPP has charged the driver of a large dump truck after a collision with an overpass in the west end of Ottawa.
The collision forced the closure of Highway 417 at the Huntmar Driver as a large dump box truck the overpass and became wedged.

The investigation has confirmed the truck was traveling close to 100-kilometres per hour, with the dump box raised, resulting in the collision.
