The death toll at Almonte Country Haven long-term care home has climbed to 30.
The provincial website updating new case information in long-term care homes across Ontario shows 30-people at the 82 bed home have died due to complications from the novel coronavirus. This is up from the 28 deaths reported near the end of last week.
Some good news is the Almonte Country Haven home is not reporting any confirmed COVID-19 cases in residents or staff.
At Stoneridge Manor in Carleton Place, 52 of the residents at the 60 bed home are still listed as active cases with six reported deaths. Under five staff members at the long-term care home in Carleton Place still have COVID-19.
