Dairy Distillery is known best for their Vodkow product.
The distillery based out of Almonte has stopped making their signature vodka and is now focusing strictly on hand-sanitizer production. Dairy Distillery says many people have reached out wanting to buy sanitizer and now for every bottle you buy, one will be donated to front-line workers fighting COVID-19. You can also choose to donate both bottles.
So far over 2,000 litres of hand-sanitizer has been distributed by Dairy Distillery. Last week they donated 1,600 litres to the County of Renfrew Paramedics and say they’ve given away more supply to other front line groups and organizations. The Country Haven Retirement Home, Almonte General Hospital, Shepherds of Good Hope, Ottawa Food Bank, The Mission, Children’s Aid Society of Ottawa, Cornerstone Housing for Women, Youth Services, Lanark County Interval House and Ottawa Rape Crisis Centre have all benefited from the generosity of Dairy Distillery.
The hand-sanitizer comes in 250ml bottles and costs $10 each. The hand-sanitizer is liquid, not a gel and is unscented. The next pick up date for orders placed will be on April 16th at the Dairy Distillery location in Almonte (34 Industrial Drive) kr at Lowertown Brewery in Ottawa (73 York Street).
