The Registered Nurses Association of Ontario wants you to show support for health providers and other essential services during the COVID-19 pandemic.
You’re encouraged to cheer for the millions of essential front-line workers at 7:30 pm every night.
This has been going on across Canada since March 19th and will continue going forward to honour all the heroes keeping us safe. You can step out onto your porch, balcony, or open a window and make some noise to show your support.
The Registered Nurses Association of Ontario says you can bang pots and pans, sing a song, applaud or honk your horn and you’re encouraged to post the activity on social media tagging @RNAO and using the hashtags #TogetherWeCanDoIt and #Cheer4HealthWorkers.
At 7:30 p.m. tonight and every night, join us and @RNAO @DorisGrinspun in recognizing our frontline care providers and the amazing work they do under extraordinary circumstances. Thank you! Tag us and we'll share. #Cheer4HealthWorkers #teamwork #FlattenTheCurve #PlankTheCurve pic.twitter.com/oWLWDE5CHT
