Someone in the valley could become a millionaire tonight. The draw for week 45 of catch the ace for the Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation will take place tonight at 8:30 pm. The progressive jackpot to start this week is over $1.15-million. Last week, even though the Ace wasn’t found, the winner still brought home over $103,000. To date over $1.9-million has been raised to support a new x-ray suite, portable x-ray equipment, state of the art defibrillators in all units at the hospital and anesthesia equipment. Tickets are still on sale at a number of local businesses today and in some locations, they will be on sale until 15 minutes before the draw at Finnigan’s in Renfrew. The week seven draw for the Deep River and District Hospital catch the ace is at 8:00 pm tonight with an estimated jackpot around $39,000. Funds raised from the draw in Deep River support diagnostic imaging equipment replacement at the local hospital with over $1.18-million raised to date.
The draw for the Saint Francis Valley Health Care Foundation catch the ace is this afternoon at 4:30 pm with an estimated jackpot over $44,000. The draw will take place at the Ash Grove Inn. Funds raised from this edition of catch the ace supports the Valley Manor redevelopment in Barry’s Bay.
The Arnprior Lions Club is also running a weekly Catch the Ace draw. Those draws take place Tuesday nights at the Prior at 7:30pm. The jackpot is currently around $6,000. This lottery is raising funds for Arnprior Regional Health, the Arnprior Lions Education Fund, and the Seniors Active Living Centre.
