Big plans for the town of Renfrew. The developers of the Lepine Apartments are setting their sights on a tract of land on Barnet Boulevard for their next project.
That’s Renfrew Reeve Peter Emon, who says Lepine is an Ottawa based company that manages over 1000 units. Mayor Don Eady is excited about the potential development and says their interest in Renfrew is a feather in the town’s cap
In addition to nearly 400 units in six buildings, designs include a pool and underground parking that won’t take from the building’s green space or scenic view. Construction on land between Scapa Tape and Eighth Street is expected to begin sometime next year and according to Emon, the developer believes the first move in could be as soon as ten to twelve months after they break ground.
