The Arnprior Regional Health Foundation (ARHF) is nearing their $4-million dollar goal for the new Grove Nursing Home. Construction starts this week and to date $3.3-million has been raised.
The new Grove Nursing Home will open in the fall 2021 and increase capacity by 60%. The new space has been laid out into three distinct neighbourhoods, each will be home to 32 residents and include a dedicated living room, dining room, activities room, bedrooms and access to a secure courtyard with walking paths, seating, and gardens.
ARHF has welcomed longtime Arnprior resident and fundraising professional Ben Gardiner as the new Executive Director. He will work along volunteer co-chairs Lori Van Wyk, Ed Reid and Glenn Arthur on the Come Home to Great Care Campaign.
Running at the same time as this campaign, is the $1-million campaign to bring leading edge technology and equipment to Arnprior Regional Health.
An upcoming fundraiser supporting the ARHF is a special day of holiday festivities at MacGowan’s Christmas Tree Farm on Dec 1st from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
