WHITEWATER STREETSTRUT A SUCCESSFUL REVIVAL OF PAST EVENT
7/17/2017 10:21:13 AM

This weekend wasn't the first time there had been an event like the Whitewater Streetstrut in the Township. It was actually a revival of an event that was held in the 80's that councillor Chris Olmstead and Reeve Terry Millar wanted to revive. After hard work from an organizing committee, the event came to fruition on Saturday. The afternoon featured free family events like a petting zoo, dunk tank, a bouncy castle and local vendors selling a variety of items. When myFM caught up with the township's manager of community services, Jordan Durocher, this is what he had to say about the turnout.

He added that lots of tickets were sold in advance for The Headstones, which headlined the musical acts on the main stage.
