BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL BACK FOR 23RD YEAR

The Valley Bluegrass Festival is a powerful draw, and this coming weekend's 23rd annual edition promises to be no exception. Among the bands appearing are: Dave Parmley & Cardinal Tradition; Feller & Hill and the Bluegrass Buckaroos; The Spinney Brothers; Ray Legere & Grasstic Measures; Rhyme 'n' Reason; The Dick Smith/Mike O'Reilly Band; Bill White & White Pine; Beeton Creek Rising; County Road 44, and CR5 Bluegrass. Valley Bluegrass is a family-oriented festival with on-site food and craft vendors. The Festival has the shade or rain tents, you bring your own lawn chair. Day-pass attendees are expected to vacate the Festival grounds by 2AM nightly. Rough camping is offered on-site, and admission is twenty dollars Friday, thirty-five dollars Saturday and twenty dollars Sunday. Festival grounds are on Johnston's Farm, 408 Castleford Road, Renfrew. Proceeds from this year's event will be shared with Renfrew Victoria Hospital and Hospice Renfrew.
