METEOROLOGISTS ISSUE TORNADO WARNING FOR UPPER OTTAWA VALLEY

A tornado watch continues in the Renfrew and Arnprior area, however things are looking a little more severe in the Upper Ottawa Valley. Environment Canada has issued a tornado warning for Pembroke, Petawawa, Killaloe, Barry's Bay and Cobden. Meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm that could possibly produce a funnel. Doppler radar indicates two potential twisters, one near Golden Lake and another roughly 30km southeast of Pembroke. Damaging winds, large hail and heavy rainfall are possible, you are reminded to take cover immediate during severe weather.
