RENFREW OPP OFFICER HAILED AS PUBLIC HERO
6/16/2017 4:54:28 PM

Renfrew Council took a moment to recognize one of Renfrew OPP's finest. Council presented Constable Tina Hunt with a scroll recognizing her as a public hero after she received an award of the same name last month in Ottawa. Hunt is very humble about the role she plays in our community and the leadership she provides for area youth. But when asked, she said it all came down to being there for the kids.

Hunt teaches the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) program in local schools, she is the driving force behind many fundraisers and she's actively involved in recreation in Horton Township.
