The Arnprior Public Library is using iPods to help out people with dementia and other health issues.
Karen DeLuca, the Chief Librarian, says the library was inspired by the movie "Alive Inside" to set up something similar in Arnprior for the residents of The Grove Nursing Home.
DeLuca says the effects have been astounding, and the library has since partnered with Hospice Renfrew to offer the same personalized iPod service.
There are 65 iPods available for The Grove, six for Hospice and six for anyone who owns a library card.
