The most recent Bonnechere Valley committee meeting played host to a special guest from halfway around the world.
A man from Uganda who works for a charity was in town as part of a 70 day tour of Canada he's doing. Maureen Luck was Kenneth Kasule's host through the Eganville Anglican Church.

Kasule works for a charity called Wide Smiles for all Through Education, a charity that pays special attention to orphans and those who may be more susceptible to HIV.

After leaving Eganville, his next stop was Winnipeg.
