NO OPEN AIR BURNING WITHOUT A PERMIT IN RENFREW
5/19/2017 4:55:12 PM

Residents violating Renfrew's open air burning by-law will feel the consequences immediately. A recent motion passed by council gives the fire department the authority to set fines and issue tickets on the spot. Unless you have a permit, no open burning is permitted. If you are using fire for the purposes of cooking, it needs to be gas, propane or charcoal briquettes. Gas fire pits are allowed but no burning of wood, garbage or paper will be permitted. All fines are set at $200.
