Quebec police are searching for three suspects following an armed robbery late last week. According to Marc Tessier with Surete du Quebec, two suspects entered a business in L'Isle Aux Allumettes on Friday and demanded money.

RENFREW TO HOST POW WOW FOR CANADA 150

The Town of Renfrew has given the Golden Age Activity Centre permission to use O'Brien Park for a Pow Wow in July. The organization secured an Ontario 150 grant to pay for the Ceremony of Celebration in honour of Canada's 150th birthday.

You may see a heavier police presence at the Renfrew fair grounds following a break-in late earlier this month. According to the OPP, someone damaged the screen and metal door on June 15th when they broke into the dining hall near the grandstands.

Home sales in Renfrew County took a slight dip in May but are right in line with the five year average for the month. According to figures released by the Renfrew County Real Estate Board, home sales decreased 4.6% from where they were in May 2016.
